Online Learning has compiled relevant databases and repositories that include academic studies, teaching strategies, and developing/expanding learning initiatives, among countless valuable resources in research and development. 

Online Learning Efficacy Research Database
Hosted by the Oregon State University Ecampus, the Online Learning Efficacy Research Database is a “searchable resource of academic studies on the learning outcomes of online and/or hybrid education in comparison to face-to-face environments.”

Teaching Online Pedagogical Repository (TOPR)
The University of Central Florida’s (UCF) Center for Distributed Learning (CDL) offers the Teaching Online Pedagogical Repository (TOPR) as a public resource for faculty and instructional designers interested in online and blended teaching strategies.

The Blended Learning Toolkit (UCF)
A free, open repository of information, resources, models, and research related to blended learning. Funded by a Next Generation Learning Challenge Wave 1 grant, the Toolkit is a collaboration between the University of Central Florida (UCF) and the American Association of State Colleges and Universities.

The American Journal of Distance Education (AJDE) is internationally recognized as the journal of record of research and scholarship in the field of American distance education. Established in 1987 with the mission of promoting research and disseminating information about distance education in the Americas, AJDE explores topics about all teaching-learning relationships where the actors are geographically separated, and communication takes place through technologies.
